Shopify Shipping (Direct Support)

Shopify Shipping is not directly available in Pakistan. This means you won't get pre-negotiated shipping rates or label printing features like merchants in the US, Canada, or Australia.


🛠️ 2. Setting Up Shipping in Pakistan

You need to manually configure shipping zones and rates:

  • Shipping Zones: Pakistan can be set as a zone, and you can assign custom shipping rates (flat rate, free, or based on weight/price).

  • Manual Rate Setup: You’ll need to set shipping rates based on your logistics partner's charges (like TCS, Leopard Courier, M&P, etc.).

  • City-Based Pricing: Shopify doesn’t allow city-specific shipping rates by default, but you can use apps to fine-tune rates by postal code.


📦 3. Use Local Courier Integration Apps

Several third-party apps can help you connect with Pakistani courier services:

  • Postex – Integrates with multiple local couriers; automates booking, label generation, and tracking.

  • leopards Courier Pakistan – Lets you book, track, and manage shipments with Pakistani courier companies.

  • Universal Courier Pakistan – Offers bulk order booking, partial fulfillment, etc.


💳 4. Cash on Delivery (COD)

COD is essential in Pakistan, and Shopify supports this via:

  • Manual payment method setup: You can create a COD option in the “Payments” settings.

  • Courier apps also help with managing COD reconciliation.


🔁 5. Returns & Exchange

Shopify doesn’t enforce return policies — you must create your own. Merchants typically:

  • Write return/exchange policies manually.
